December is concluding and with it, we’re closing in the end of 2022. With the end of this month, I am writing one more retrospective about the events that have happened in my life during the past month. I am still on the fence whether or not I am writing a “year in review”. I will likely do a post for music and one for movies and TV shows with some stats. But I’m not sure I will write a generic year in review.
November has been a pretty intensive month in many different regards: from my parents visiting The Netherlands for the first time, to my partner and I moving in together to a new apartment. Besides, we’re getting closer and closer to the end of the year, which means there are some cosy events I am looking forward to 🎄🍷.
October is probably one of my favorite months of the year. Not only because of the vibes falling onto us 🍁 - no pun intented -, or my birthday, but it is also usually packed with events happening here and there. But before we continue, I wish you a great All Hallows’ Eve 🎃!
September is finally gone and with it, my vacations. Now it’s time to start another chapter of life and work full-time for the first time in my life. Here’s some of the nice things that happened last month.
August is ending and with it, most people’s summer vacations. It’s time for school, university and work again. However, I did not have that much of a vacation yet.
July is ending for most of us in a few hours and August will start. This is when most people go for vacation and have their summer holidays. Let’s look at what I’ve been doing during July, which has been a very very busy month - I feel like I’ve been saying this every month.
I have recently noticed I have been writing ‘recently’ posts since September 2020. Honestly, I wasn’t expecting it to have been that long. Today, I am trying a different format. Sometimes I’m not sure on how to organize this monthly posts and I see some people posting bullet-list weekly or monthly posts so I decided to try.
A few weeks ago, I thought crossed my mind: buy an e-reader. It wasn’t the first time. In the beginning of this year, I read many books and I remembered considering it back then. However, that wasn’t the first time either. So I just decided to go with it and ordered a Kobo Clara HD.
May was a loooong month in the sense that a lot happened. It is crazy to think that we’re now starting the sixth month of 2022, which means that we’re nearing the first semester of this year. It feels like it just started.
This is going to be a relatively short post, even though many things happened last month. The first three months of 2022 are completed and there’s now only 9 to go. That’s quite scary. Time flies!
It is the end of February and it is unbelievable. It feels like 2022 started yesterday, yet here we are: in the end of one more month. I feel like I say this every month though.
It is unbelievable that 1/12 of the year has already gone by. I came back to the Netherlands in the beginning of the month and I’ve been able to achieve quite a few things last month.
October started with a very nice trip to Paris, France. I was there from the 1st of October to the 3rd. We went by bus and it was quite a journey. Around 8 hours each way.
The week after, I had some Intro+ parties and activities. Intro+ was organized by the university for students that enrolled last year. It was quite fun: there was a pub crawl on the Thursday and then a party on Friday. I didn’t go Saturday, but I really do not regret the decision 😂.
August was a busy month. I fly back to the Netherlands quite in the beginning of the month so I could get my second Covid-19 vaccine, which caused a mild fever overnight but was pretty fine overall.
This year has been passing way too fast. In the beginning, I felt the urge to finish the academic year. Now, I’m only one month away to the beginning of my (hopefully) last year of university. Exciting projects may happen this year and I’m here for it.
